KOTA KINABALU: A group of veteran adventurous won the 1st Krazy Ken Adventure Park Team Challenge 2007’ organised by the Kota Kinabalu Adventure Park (KKAP) here last weekend.

Hawkman which comprised of Cowboy Miala, Sidek Anggang, Supian Nor and Rahim Sidek won themselves a trophy, RM350 cash, vouchers and certificates.

Their close rival One and Only in Borneo which comprised of Guianus Salagan, Yatim Zainal, Yusof Tungkop and Freddy Anggang came in second place and brought home a trophy, RM250 cash, vouchers and certificates.

Third place went to Charles Edwin, John Linus, Souress Michael and Bernard Linus who named themselves as Arara and brought home a trophy, RM150 cash, vouchers and certificates.

Meanwhile, KKAP Operational Director Bryan Wade said the competition aimed at creating awareness among adventure lovers on outdoor activities offer by the park.

He thanked all the participants for their support adding that such a challenge will be held from time to time.

The challenge which was first organised by KKAP was supported and sponsored by Coffee Bean, Payless, Delco United Marketing Sdn Bhd, Rentokil Pest Control, Chip Seng Heng Marketing Sdn Bhd, Sutera Megah and Prime Enterprise.

Meanwhile, the park currently offers Quad Bikes, Beach Buggies, Bungee Trampolines, High Rope Challenges, Low Ropes Course, Kayaks, Flying Fox, Wall Climbing and Coconut Climb.

The Park occupies 8 acres of spectacular beach front land at Beringgis, just 35 minutes South of Kota Kinabalu on the road to Papar.

The park is open daily from 9.00am to 6.00pm and admission is free.
